YOGA NIDRA

baby and me yoga

0- Precrawling

This is a wonderful nurturing experience for both parent and child. Class time is split between helping adults to stretch tight muscles and lubricate joints while increasing babies physical strength and skills. When you help parents and babies learn to breathe, connect, and play together, they hold the capacity to feel better about themselves and make stronger bonds with one another.

Crawlers - Pre K

This class is geared towards fun for both child and parent. It will include animated postures, and encourage, social, emotional and physical learning. In each class we will be guided by a theme and use play to practice yoga postures while developing a variety of skills including imagination, body awareness, kindness, coordination, and balance as well as build muscular strength. Although this class is mostly directed towards the children, parents will have the opportunity to do a little yoga as well.
 
About the teacher: 
Caralyn is a mother of two beautiful baby boys and has been doing yoga for 15+ years. She is aware of the wonders and hardships of motherhood which has set her on this journey to create a safe space for parents to come together and partake in a yoga practice for both themselves and their little ones. Caralyn is a 200 hour certified yoga teacher with a special interest in the health and wellness of little ones. She has worked extensively in the health, wellness and physical education industries. She is looking forward to watching the bond between you and your child grow through postures, movement, play, and even a little meditation.

 

INVERSIONS

Turn the fear of inversions upside down with the support of spotters and partner assists. Exploring acrobatic conditioning and yoga techniques we will build and refine our alignment and work our way toward balancing with confidence and ease in headstand, forearm stand and hand stand.

Therapeutic's Workshop

Therapeutic yoga combines yoga therapy techniques and fascial stretch therapies to help us move with ease and is intended to provide relief from pain.  Poses are offered at a slower pace to support optimal functioning of the joints, muscles and organs to soothe, align and heal from the inside out.  In this workshop we will be using therapeutic yoga balls for fascia releases targeting the entire joint and joint capsule, using traction to remove restrictions from movement and to stimulate lubrication, while exploring a type of stretching that targets not only the muscles, but the connective tissue that surrounds muscles, bones, and joints. We will focus on shoulders, neck, back, feet, hamstrings and the psoas muscle.

acroyoga

AcroYoga is an exciting partner yoga practice with a base, a flyer and a spotter. This series is ALL LEVEL and is designed to set a solid foundation that incorporates yoga asana, strength training partner exercises, acrobatic flying and thai massage. AcroYoga builds a practice of the understanding of trust. Trust within the body, trust within the community and trust in doing amazing things you never thought you'd be able to do. Come as you are, with OR without a partner.
